ABOUT MEMiss Krautz Welcome to High School Mathematics at Tidioute Community Charter School. I am Miss Krautz. I am looking forward to our time together here at Tidioute Charter! Let me tell you a little about myself. I have lived all across the mid-west. I was born in Jeannette, PA but we moved often with my father's job. I have lived in Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and finally back to Pennsylvania. All this time my family has had a cabin in Tiona. In 2017, it was time to upgrade from that hunting cabin and we ended up with a place in Tidioute on the river. Since, 2020 I have lived full time in this wonderful little town. I am excited to be on a path of learning with the kids in these surrounding communities. I graduated with a teaching degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato and used it to coach swim teams in both in Latrobe, PA and then in White Plains, NY. Where I coached everything from developmental swimmers through Olympic Trials.

In addition to teaching the students here at TCCS, I enjoy all things that have to do with the water, the outdoors, and my dogs. You may also find me set up at the local craft and art fairs as I am a metalsmith and I create both sterling silver and enamel jewelry.
